At the time, he’d barked out a laugh at her assumption he and his brother, Thierry, were there for a night of loving. It had died quickly on his lips as images of her soft naked body sandwiched between the two of them filled his head. It didn’t help that her full breasts strained against her cream silk shirt as she struggled against her bonds.

Braless. Lord help him, he almost swallowed his tongue. Her nipples were tight buds rasping against the silky material. His fingers twitched desiring to twist, tweak, and torture them until she came.

Diamonds Aren't Forever is an erotic, menage, romance. It sets up the mystery that continues throughout the series.

“You tryin’ to tell me something, chère?” His deep voice wound around her sending fine tremors through her body. Stop this. She knew those tremors had nothing to do with fear and everything to do with desire.  What I wouldn’t give to be wet with sweat after hours of lovemaking.
Between her underused body and overactive imagination that worked well in writing novels, but not here, not now. She was her worst enemy. Get. It. Together.
Peyton wasn’t too lost in thought not to feel his strong fingers brushing against the base of her neck, or her reaction.

Diamonds Aren't Forever sets up the mystery that continues throughout the series. And, it has one of my favorite elements of romance, a menage.

Temptation Tuesday - Diamonds Aren't Forever

Sorry for the disappearing act on the last few Tuesdays. It's not that I haven't been writing, it seems my hero and heroine in book 2 have finally decided to spread their wings. And, boy have they kept me hopping.

And the blog posts suffer. But, I'm here. So, I know you hate to hear it so soon, but the holidays are upon us. And, I, like many authors will be offering a special deal on my book. So, for the next few weeks, I'll be giving out teasers on Diamonds Aren't Forever

Peyton fell unceremoniously onto the leather sofa. She let out a muffled oomph around the gag in her mouth. Bound at her wrists and ankles, she struggled to sit only to sink further into the buttery soft cushions.
The irony of the situation wasn’t lost on her. How had she become the cliché she wrote about; a woman antagonizing her attacker only to wind up tied up like a Christmas present.
Peyton had written hundreds of scenes like the one she was in right now. Worse even. And the heroines always came out without a scrape.
Fiction vs. reality here, Peyton. Her arms bound behind her ached, her chafed wrists and ankles concurred.
Shaking off the momentary jaunt into irrational thinking, she knew the only way to get out of this was to keep a level head. However, if her actions of the last hour were a good indicator of things to come, Peyton had a sneaky suspicion that wasn’t going to happen.
Her mind raced back to seeing the man, towering above her now, sitting in the back of the limo. All rational thought had fled.

Was he at the party? Not that it mattered if he was a fan, but maybe Shelbie or Arabella had seen him and his brother and knew their identities.

Frowning down at the beauty sprawled before him, Sebastian Boudreaux’s sour mood worsened. He was here to collect the debt her ex-husband owed not to bed her, though his body seemed to have other ideas.
What’s up Boudreaux? It’s simple. Collect the diamonds, she’s a number. Running his hand through his hair, he tapped down the exasperation filling him. She’s not the number. Still, you’ve collected debts from countless families in the past without any problem.
He never liked it. But I collected and got out. Developing a conscience? He snorted. I was never that far gone. And papa has taken great strides to rid the casino and his other holdings of illegal activities. But not all. It takes time. What makes her any different?
Scrubbing a hand over his face that last question stumped him. She doesn’t deserve this. None of them did. Frustration rumbled, like a wild animal in his chest.
Looking at her now, her honey blonde hair mussed up like they’d just had a night of hot sex, he...  “Stop it,” Sebastian snapped out loud. He turned away, ignoring her amused stare.
Yeah, well right now I feel as crazy as you think I am. Was it too much to hope she’d give him what he came for so he could be on his way? But now that he’d smelled her perfume, touched her, tied her up, what did he actually want?
Her.

I'm continuing with Book 2 in the Diamond Series. In this excerpt we find Dagan waiting for Shelbie in a restaurant in Savannah. It's only been a few weeks that he found out her true identity.
He's dressed as the powerful mogul that he is, planning to confront her right away. But, he doesn't get the chance.
Shelbie only knows Dagan as Hunter, a hard working construction foreman.

Dagan Hunter Caulfield felt like a fool sitting alone in a restaurant in Savannah, Georgia, waiting for his nemesis. Anger seared through him. Really, no one would blame him for not knowing who she was.
In fact, how could he know? He should have. He prided himself on knowing an opponent inside and out. But this time— he’d been blindsided.
All because of a few lunch dates. He snorted. More like a few dozen.
What had happened to him? He’d faced opponents before. Hell, competition and making enemies were old hat. He’d eaten them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and spat them out coming and going.

In the meantime, book 1 of Diamond Series is titled Diamonds Aren't Forever. It sets up the mystery and the menage between Peyton and brothers, Sebastian and Thierry is hot.

Weekend Writing Warriors - 8Snippet Sunday

Weekend Writing Warriors is a great way to find new authors, get snippets of your favorite authors' works, and get sneak peaks of upcoming books. Visit the link, and thanks for your support.

I'm continuing with Book 2 in the Diamond Series. It's coming along nicely and will be out soon. In the meantime, book 1 of Diamond Series is titled Diamonds Aren't ForeverPick up your copy.
Here we get a glimpse of Arabella, Shelbie's foster sister and sister in crime, and her man.  They become an integral part of book 2, setting up for book 3.

Scanning the empty room, she weighed her options. She’d been trying to contact Shelbie for a week now. Ever since, Ian walked back into her life.
A shiver, slithered down her spine. She refused to acknowledge just what that meant.
Call Diamond. Nope, not yet. Peyton, Shelbie, and her sister Amalia always ran to Diamond, hanging on his every word right from the beginning. Not her.

Arabella was too much of a rebel. She’d tested the man at every turn, and Diamond had proven himself to be caring and loyal to them, but she held onto her independent streak.

Friday Feature - Tracey Alvarez

Hey all. I'm revisiting an author from a previous post. Tracey Alvarez's Due South Series has another book. The release date here in the United States is today. In her neck of the woods, New Zealand it's the 25th, which is the 24th here.

Book three is just as good, if not better than books 1 and 2. This book has a great food theme going on and the hottest sex scene that begins at a kitchen that I've ever read. Here's an excerpt.

He grabbed two sweet butt cheeks in his
hands and backed her up to the counter. Soon as he‘d
wedged himself against her so she couldn‘t escape, he
snatched up her right hand, which crept along to his
neat rows of cupcakes.
―Nuh-uh.
She glared daggers at him.
―I might throw like a girl,‖ he said. ―But I‘m still
bigger and stronger and faster than you are.
Her knee jerked, and he thrust forward, grinding into
the cradle of her hips. Her eyes widened. Yeah, the oven
wasn‘t the only piece of hot equipment in this kitchen.
Lush breasts rubbed against him as her breaths
heaved in and out, her pebble-hard nipples stabbing into
his chest.
He bent and nipped her bra strap between his teeth,
tugging it sideways until it slid off her shoulder.
